The St Jude Dream Home is the rallying cry for our employees and our team to strive to make each day better than the last one. To make each years' Dream Home and campaign better than the last. Our entire Covington Team is looking forward to helping in this very worthy cause and contributing whatever we can to help fight childhood cancer. Because of their generous efforts, we are all able to say together that every dollar raised goes towards the fight to cure cancer. Each year, Covington Homes and their trade partners donate all of the materials and labor to build a beautiful home for a giveaway benefitting the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
For the past two years, Covington Homes has built the Colorado Springs Dream Home at zero cost. That means all of the proceeds from the ticket sales of the Dream Home go directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In Colorado Springs, builder Covington Homes joins with its trade partners to make a dream come true for one lucky winner, all in support of St. Jude. All tickets reserved by Friday, August 23, will also be entered to win a $3,500 VISA gift card, courtesy of the Christie Family. The Dream Home is more than a prize for one lucky individual, this home ensures St. Jude Children's Research Hospital can continue to change the way the world treats and defeats childhood cancer.
Groundbreaking 2022
There is no doubt that it is a splendid choice for both indoor spaces. The house’s majestic open-plan kitchen features a large Silestone island that dominates the space due to its size and brightness. Silestone Iconic White, the purest white currently in the world of quartz surfaces, blends with the other light colours of its surroundings and contrasts with the large solid wood table. Actually, for several years, I lived in a house in the desert that had Silestone countertops.
This means that all of the proceeds from the ticket sales of the Dream Home go directly to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Devoted to enhancing the lives of children with cancer, all of the proceeds from the sweepstakes are funneled back to the hospital that goes toward treatment, housing and food for patients. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is getting ready for another charitable event with its 9th annual DenverDream Home Giveaway. This year, a 4-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom, and 3-car garage home with an estimated value of $775,000 is the ultimate prize with a ticket purchased for $100. We appreciate the opportunity given to us by the St. Jude ALSAC Team and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help fight and WIN the battle against childhood cancer. Toledo native, Danny Thomas, founded St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in 1962.
Celebrate New Year’s Eve Colorado-Style
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since the hospital opened more than 50 years ago. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. We are truly humbled and honored to be the Southern Colorado St Jude Dream Home Builder.
Every year they buy a ticket to the St. Jude Dream Home because of that. We met up with them at the Dream Home on June 10th to show them their new home! It was such a great night filled with laughter, tears of happiness, and love. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.
